I go to work each day for three equally important reasons: A) I like the people I work with. B) They pay me money. C) I make a difference.
On any given day, one reason might seem more important than the others. And that’s ok. But life is too short and we spend too much time working for it to be an unfulfilling experience. I’ve been at McKinney almost six years now—double my tenure anywhere else. Must be pretty good.
Despite the fulfilling experience here, I have to admit I’ve been moonlighting the last few years. You see, I’ve been a dad since September 2005. It’s easy to work there. I love the people. It’s scary how much of a difference I make. And there is no way anyone could pay me enough to do something else.

Simplify: data and information so others can understand and use it. If a Connection Planner does that, we all win.
Love: that no two category experiences are the same. Therefore, every experience audit is an opportunity find better ways to connect with people on their terms.
Provoke: challenges to conventional thinking by using data-driven insights to help people see things differently than they do now.
Listen: to the consumer to understand who they are as people. The best way to understand the decisions people make is to identify the underlying attitudes and emotions driving their actions.
